The TURBOSOUND PRAGUE TPZ153 is an arrayable switchable passive/bi-amped 3,200 Watt three way full range loudspeaker designed for a wide range of installation applications. It consists of a carbon fibre loaded 15″ low frequency driver with inside/outside wound coil, a carbon fibre loaded 8″ high sensitivity mid range driver, and a titanium dome 1.4″ neodymium motor high frequency compression driver on a rotatable waveguide with a 60° horizontal by 40° vertical dispersion. The ability to rotate the HF waveguide through 90° in the enclosure makes it possible to predict and assemble precisely configured loudspeaker arrays with very accurate coverage of a given audience space.

The TPZ153 can be used either in passive or bi-amped mode for flexibility of use, user selectable by means of a rear panel slide switch. The cabinet is constructed from 15 mm (5/8″) birch plywood enclosure, with an architecturally styled powder coated perforated steel mesh grille backed with reticulated foam, and is finished in hard wearing semi matt black textured paint. Multiple internal threaded rigging points are provided to allow use with TURBOSOUND wall and ceiling brackets, and OmniMount* brackets, or for suspension with eyebolts in any orientation. A Neutrik speakON* NL4 input connector is located on the rear panel wired in parallel with a 4-way barrier strip providing input and link through connections to additional cabinets.
